About Us
Rockville Counseling Founder
Rachel Wachs, LCSW-R

We all experience crossroads in our lives. These struggles can often seem like obstacles that limit what we can do and who we can be.
However, they are also opportunities to see beyond these limitations and discover new possibilities for ourselves and others, even when emotions and barriers seem overwhelming.
I am grateful for the rewarding work I do and feel privileged to support each individual's journey. My practice provides a welcoming and safe environment, allowing each client to explore their experiences and feelings.
Successful therapeutic outcomes are rooted in a combination of a trusting therapeutic relationship, mutual collaboration, and clinical expertise.
My approach varies with each client’s presenting problems, individual diagnosis, and needs. I am well-versed in providing insight-oriented therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychoeducation, as well as individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
If you would like to know more about my services, please feel free to contact me with any questions.
